Martin Schneider joined the microphone development department of Georg Neumann GmbH, Berlin in 1992, after obtaining his diploma in electrical engineering from Technical University Berlin. Since 2008 he lectures Electroacoustics at Hochschule für Musik, Detmold, at the Tonmeister institute, and the Microphone Lab at Technical University Berlin, at the Institute for Audio Communication.
