Frederick Umminger leads the audio and video engine teams at Roblox. He has over 10 years experience in the VR and gaming industries, where he co-founded a virtual reality video streaming startup and led the 3D audio development for PlayStation VR, after previously leading an audio team for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 4. Prior to this he had over 11 years experience developing professional audio software at Avid.
