Angelica Tavella is an Italian-American musician, design technologist, and electronic artist.
After moving from northern Italy to the San Francisco Bay Area as a child, she spent her time composing music and experimenting with sound. She studied at University of California, Berkeley, where she studied copyright law, but was simultaneously introduced to the world of Max/ MSP, electronics, and design. It was the latter areas that stole her heart.
She is currently based in Berlin where she works in Industrial Design at Ableton, creates music under the moniker Tavella, and tinkers with electronics.
