Boris Rehders

d&b audiotechnik

Boris Rehders received an engineering degree (Dipl.- Ing.) in theatre and event technology from the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 1999. Since 2002, he has been employed in d&b audiotechnik’s Education & Application Support department as an application support engineer, trainer and sound system designer. He has continued his career at d&b audiotechnik since 2014 as Senior System Designer and Training Coordinator, where he has been Head of Application Engineering since 2020. At d&b audiotechnik, he gained a lot of experience with sound system designs and commissioning as well as beeing in charge of d&b's extensive 3rd party software loudspeaker simulation data. He was able to take part in many renowned projects, such as the European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium; Zorlu PSM, Istanbul, Turkey; Bestepe National Congress and Culture Center, Ankara, Turkey; Danish Radio Concert Hall, Copenhagen, Denmark; Hyogo Center for Arts and Culture, Hyogo, Japan.
He gained practical experience as a freelance live sound and sound system engineer in Germany and joined the AES technical committee on Acoustics and Sound Reinforcement in 2019.
