CJ Vanston is a Hollywood based composer, producer, arranger and songwriter who has worked with artists such as Toto, Joe Cocker, Keith Urban, Def Leppard, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Ringo Starr, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Justin Timberlake, B.B. King, Barbra Streisand, Carole King, Bob Seger among countless others.
CJ Among CJ’s many film credits are scores for Christopher Guest’s “Waiting For Guffman,” “Best In Show,” “Almost Heroes,” “For Your Consideration,” the HBO Series “Family Tree,” and “Mascots” (Netflix).
He has also performed as musical director/keyboardist on world tours in over forty countries with Tears For Fears, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner and Spinal Tap.
In addition, CJ has written and performed original pieces for the Dalai Lama and Muhammad Ali, he has served as co-musical director for the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards since its inception in 2013.
