Denise Woodward

IATSE Local 16, San Francisco Symphony, NARAS Member

Denise Woodward is a member of IATSE Local 16 in San Francisco where she works as an A2, RF technician and intercom technician for live events. She is part of the core team of Audio Engineers for the San Francisco Symphony, where, in addition to handling intercom and RF duties, she is the A1 for SF Soundbox, an experimental performance space where classical and modern music is presented. Further, Denise serves as an assistant recording engineer for the SF Symphony. She has assisted on several Grammy Award winning recordings with the Symphony and was awarded the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Performance recording of Harmonielehre and Short Ride in a Fast Machine by composer John Adams.
