Gustavo Borner has been engineering and producing albums and soundtracks since 1987.



After high school in his native Argentina, Gus attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He graduated with a double major in Music Production and Engineering and Film Scoring and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the studio.



Album projects include Juanes, Roberto Carlos, Carlos Vives, Marilyn Manson, Kinky, Placido Domingo, Phil Collins.



Winner of 11 Latin Grammys and 4 Grammys.



MTV unpluggeds, like Ricky Martin, Juanes, Los Tigres del Norte (Producer and Engineer), Julieta Venegas, Pepe Aguilar, Kinky, Bunbury, Zoe, and recently Miguel Bose’s.



Live projects include the New Orleans Jazz Fest, Newport JVC Jazz Fest and music shows like Blind Boys of Alabama Live from New York and Santana’s “Corazon LIVE”.



Gustavo has also mixed several MTV awards shows and live webcasts like the Foo Fighters for Microsoft’s MSN Music.



Film scores include the Rush Hour franchise with Lalo Schifrin, Guardians of the Galaxy, Watchmen and Suckerpunch with Tyler Bates, Sunshine, Miami Vice and 28 Weeks Later with John Murphy.



In 2014 Gus was the scoring engineer / mixer for Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu’s "Birdman", winning a CAS award, a TEC award and a Grammy for Best Soundtrack album.



Video game work includes Dawn of Wat, Destiny, Fallout and the upcoming Spiderman.



He has been working on numerous projects for Walt Disney since 1996. Recent projects include Moana and Pirates of the Caribbean Shanghai Disney.



Since the year 2000 Gustavo operates from his studio complex in Burbank, Igloo Music, where he runs 4 studios.



Currently Gus is working on the film Underworld 5 and Soda Stereo's/Cirque du Soleil upcoming show "Sep7imo Dia".
