John Kane is part-time faculty in the design and media department at the Institute of Art and Design at New England College. He also teaches leadership, business, communication, and marketing courses. He is the author of Pilgrims of Woodstock: Never-Before-Seen Photos (University Press of Indiana) and The Last Seat in the House: The Story of Hanley Sound (University Press of Mississippi). He has also written for the Washington Post and FOH Magazine. John grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts, and now resides on the seacoast of New Hampshire with his wife and daughter.
