Kevin Kimmel

Kevin has been a Systems Application Engineer for Yamaha Commercial Audio for 7 years.

His 1st world tour was with Peaches & Herb as monitor mixer beginning in 1979.

In 1981 he re-located to southern CA working at Disneyland for over 35 years as a mix engineer, system designer, and broadcast engineer. He was a recording engineer at Davlen Sound and Dawnbreaker Recording Studios working with Ray Charles, Tower of Power, & Bobby Caldwell to name a few.

Kevin was an apprentice Recordist on several films, including Raging Bull and Blue Lagoon at Warner Hollywood Studios.

Kevin was FOH engineer and crew chief for 2 years with Louis Miguel in '93-'94.

Afterwards he began mixing on many TV shows from the mid-90's to present both as FOH and monitor mix positions on 100's of shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live, Survivor Finales, The Conan O'Brien Show, The Grammy Pre-Tel Show, The Daytime Emmy's, & The Ellen DeGeneres Show just to scratch the surface.

While Kevin's main focus in recent years has been helping develop and present mixing consoles for Yamaha, he continues to mix as a freelance engineer to stay active and current in the industry.
