Marcel Kok is an acoustic consultant since 1991. Since 2008 he’s the CEO of dBcontrol, busy with "Sound level measurements & control" merely at large outdoor (dance) festivals. dBcontrol operates in Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway and sometimes in Germany. The main goal is to maintain the license for the promotor. Marcel is involved in the WHO Make Listening Safe group and also member of the AES for 30 years now.
Marcel Kok is parttime Ph.D. student at Ghent University, Belgium, about the dB(C) and outdoor festivals.
