Born in Cali, Colombia the 10th of July of 1976,
Mateo holds a Bachelors Degree in Music 2001´from Berklee College of Music where he studied Electronic Production and Design and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Los Andes University obtained in 2015. Since 2016, He has been in charge of the creation and implementation of the new Music and Sound Production Major at Icesi University in Cali, Colombia. Currently, he acts as the Program Director and as a professor for Icesi University.
He also participated as a founding partner in 2007 of EMMAT Music School located in Bogotá, Colombia and of the Indipendent Record Label and Production Company; Discosoye in 2002.
