Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly is Senior Director, Research and Development at DTS. He is based in London UK and leads a team who develop and optimise next-generation spatial audio algorithms for games, VR, music and film. Michael and the team work in C and C++ for multiple platforms, working with tools such as Matlab, Unity, Unreal Engine and common game-audio middleware. Michael has a PhD from the University of York in spatial audio coding. He started his games career as a sound designer and later moved into programming roles at Creative Labs, then Sony Interactive Entertainment working on the PS3 and Vita platforms.
