Niko Bolas is known as a vibe-oriented producer/engineer. He’s recorded and produced music and technology since starting at the legendary Record One Studio in 1979. Artists he’s worked with include Neil Young, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Stan Getz, Herbie Hancock, Keith Richards, John Mayer, Los Lonely Boys, LeeAnn Rimes, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and the Mavericks. He also founded Internet company Sonicbox which ultimately merged with Japanese software giant Softbank, and is a technical advisor to the Microsoft Surface project.
