International Audio Laboratories Erlangen

Pablo Delgado got his diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires along with joint research work at the National Engineering School of Caen, France (ENSICAEN) on the topic of efficient algorithms for distributed acoustic source localization.

Since 2013 he has been with the Fraunhofer Institute of Integrated Circuits (IIS) as a R&D Engineer working on state-of-the art perceptual audio coding technologies, including the MPEG standard for universal Spatial/3D Audio Coding, MPEGH-H.

In late 2017 he joined the International Audio Laboratories Erlangen (Audiolabs) as a researcher in the area of psychoacoustics related to spatial audio perception.

He has also worked professionally as a musician, producer and recording engineer, and is interested in audio DSP development for studio production tools and human interfacing with electronic instruments.
