Paul Hunter is a DJ, producer and remixer who has had tracks signed to labels including Mute, Ministry of Sound, Positiva Records and Nang. He will be delivering for the EMP section how to incorporate music technology into a live performance.
He achieved a No. 1 on the American Billboard charts with the band ‘Desert’ and gained regular support from all the major players on the progressive house scene, including Sasha, John Digweed and X-press 2. He also collaborated under the moniker of Hong Kong Trash and Imposters and received regular support on Radio 1. Paul also has toured the world as a DJ for the super club ‘Cream’ playing regularly at the main venue in Liverpool and holding residencies in Ibiza, Tenerife, and Cyprus.
He has been working in education for over fifteen years designing and delivering content for music technology courses at Further and Higher education. He has worked as a lecturer at SAE in Liverpool for more than seven years and BIMM in Manchester for six years.
