Founded Focusrite Audio Engineering Ltd in 1989 to purchase the business assets of Focusrite Ltd, a company founded by Mr Rupert Neve in 1985. Led acquisition by Focusrite of Novation (synths and keyboards) in 2004. Current Group size c.$100m. revenue per annum and growing.

Formed partnership with Digidesign from 1995 to develop plugins emulating Focusrite Red 2 and Red 3 EQ and compressor units. This led to joint ventures to develop the original Mbox audio interface and Control|24 control surface for Pro Tools, marketed by Digidesign / Avid.

Led Focusrite Plc IPO in 2014 on London AIM Market.

Recent acquisition of ADAM Audio (Berlin) by Focusrite Plc.

Previous experience included founding Soundcraft (1973 - 1988).

Original experience as live sound engineer including a US tour by Led Zeppelin, Spring 1970.
