Rob Byers is the director of broadcast and media operations at Minnesota Public Radio|American Public Media where his engineering contributed to a Peabody Award. He is also co-owner of the creative audio-storytelling post-production team Final Final v2. Formerly a part of the training team at NPR, Rob trained public media producers across the country. He wrote The Ear Training Guide for Audio Producers, The Audio Producer’s Guide to Loudness, and The Producer's Handbook to Mixing Audio Stories. Rob contributed to various AES loudness recommendations, and he mixes the Radiotopia podcast Criminal.
